This one day session comprises an overview of the N5 course structure and will give advice on exam technique and building student confidence. Whilst some time will be spent looking at the theory element of the course, the main focus of the day will involve a practical ICT workshop (using Microsoft Office) drawing upon past paper resources from both the question paper and the assignment including databases, spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software and electronic communication. This is the ideal opportunity for teachers to raise individual concerns about any area of difficulty they may be experiencing.
This course will particularly suit teachers who want to enhance their ICT skills in the context of the N5 course specification.
At the end of the session course materials, which can be used in the classroom, will be available to take away and electronic files can be downloaded to a pen drive.
This course is limited to 12 delegates.
